Canadian Heritage - Youth Cyberstation :: Volunteering is a great way for youth to get some work experience. This site aims to motivate young people to get involved. Youth can assess the kind of volunteer experience that would be best for them, learn to evaluate a volunteer opportunity and find out how to succeed on the job.

Community Links (NS) :: Community Links is a provincial association of 177 community organizations building healthy communities and enhancing the quality of life for seniors and others in rural Nova Scotia through community development and volunteer action.

Earthwatch Institute :: The Earthwatch Institute is a non-profit organization that engages people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. It helps ordinary people volunteer on research projects.

Global Volunteers :: Global Volunteers has mobilized more than 13,500 volunteers on community development projects worldwide since 1984 - touching hearts and changing lives in 19 countries.

Habitat for Humanity :: Habitat for Humanity International's Global Village trips give participants a unique opportunity to become active partners with people of another culture. Team members work alongside members of the host community, raising awareness of the burden of poverty housing and building decent, affordable housing worldwide.

Help the Aged :: Help the Aged was registered as a Canadian charitable organization in 1975 with the mission of providing programs and services to assist the elderly poor in developing countries and in Canada.

Idealist.org - Action Without Borders :: Gain valuable experience and learn something - by volunteering! Idealist, a project of Action without Borders, is a global clearinghouse of nonprofit and volunteering resources offering a comprehensive directory of volunteer opportunities. It provides information and links to 20,000 nonprofit and community organizations in 140 countries.

Doctors of the World :: Doctors of the World is part of the Medecins du Monde (MDM) International network, comprising twelve delegations around the globe, whose aim is to provide the world's most vulnerable populations with medical assistance.
